How To Improve Your Website’s E.E.A.T.

Here are some of the strategies that we use and recommend to improve your website’s E.E.A.T.:

Write Helpful informative Content

In addition to the guidelines for Google E.E.A.T. methodology they released an update in December 2022 called the Helpful content update.  This update focuses on the quality and usefulness of the content.  Avoid AI written and automated content farms.  Machine written type of content lacks the experience and creativity that real humans have.

Build BackLinks to Your Website

The more links directed at your website, the higher the value Google will give your website.  Every link is not created equally.  Contextual links are the high quality backlinks you can have. A contextual link refers to the content written around the link. This shows google that the link is relevant and useful.

Links from a website transfer a portion of the assigned value to the linking website.  The higher the value the website, the more website value will transfer to your website.  Using metrics like MOZ da score has been a standard in the industry for over 10 years.  However, to validate the value of a link, you should look at other metrics such as search volume.  This would demonstrate because google is sending traffic that the site has value.

Building Trust

Search engine want to know how reliable information about your site is.  Building consistent contact information on business listing sites improves your score.

Keeping your site secure with SSL and making sure all updated are completed in a timely maner will not only keep your site safe, but add trustworthiness to your site.  If you are on WordPress, you plugins and templates will need to be updated consistently.
